Combatting Inflammation

Let's talk about Omega-3s today!

Omega-3s are essential fatty acids meaning that you need to consume them, and your body does not and cannot make them.

Omega-3s are essential for:

* Decreasing inflammation

* Supporting Brain Health

* Supporting Hormone Health

* Supporting Heart Health

* Supporting Joint Health

It is recommended that we intake 2000-4000mg of Omega's daily with a combined EPA and DHA in a ratio of 2:1 EPA to DHA.

Foods that are high in both EPA and DHA (can be referred to as SMASH) are:

- Salmon

- Mackerel

- Algae

- Sardines

- Herring

(Chances are you are not sitting down several times a day to consume these in large quantities.)

The recommended supplement that I want to talk about and also is something I take myself daily is:
